Lula Miller Dietzel, 91, of Parkview Care Center in Ripon, formerly of Wisconsin Dells and Oconomowoc, passed away Monday, June 26, 1995 at Parkview Care Center.
She was born April 21, 1904 in Junction City, WI, a daughter of Albert and Antonie Buelow Borth Sr. She was educated in Dancy, WI and on March 16, 1925 married Wm. Miller who preceded her in death in 1958. She married Amond Dietzel in 1969. Mr. Dietzel passed away in 1974.
Lula was a housewife and partner with her husband in business as a motel manager in Wisconsin Dells. She was a member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church of Oconomowoc.
Lula Dietzel is survived by 1 niece, Barbara (Jerry) Schwandt of Ripon; 5 nephews, Dennis (Jean) Schrank of Cederburg WI, James (Lu) Schrank of Stevens Point, WI, David (Madilyn) Schrank of Texas, Robert Borth Jr. of Milwaukee and Thomas Hunt of Shawano, 2 step-grandchildren: Nancy Dunahee of Stevens Point and Jean (Duane) Langer of Wisconsin Dells; 2 Sisters-in-Law, Katherine Borth of Milwaukee and Erna Borth of Oconomowoc. She was preceded in death by her 2 husbands, 3 brothers, Albert Jr. Otto and Robert Barth Sr.; 3 sisters, Blondie Duntman, Rachel Schrank and Laura Hunt; and a step-son, Harold Miller.
Funeral services for Lula Dietzel will be held on at 5:30 pm Friday, June 30, 1995 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with the Reverend James Mohr officiating. Interment will follow on Saturday at Spring Grove Cemetery in Wisconsin Dells. Friends may call from 4:30 until the time of services Friday at the funeral home.
