Lydia M. Henning, age 98, died July 14, 1998, at Parkview Care Center, Ripon.
She was born June 5, 1900, in the Town of Metomen, the daughter of Frank and Minnie (Born) Albrecht. She received her schooling in West Rosendale. On February 8, 1923, she married Harry Henning and he passed away on February 5. 1954. She had lived in Ripon most of her life and was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ, Ripon. Lydia had worked 28 years at Ripon Foods and was a member of the 25-Year Club.
She is survived by her daughter, lone Schultz of Evansville; 2 grandchildren, Mary Jo (Duane) Updike and Phillip L. (Jackie) Schultz, all of Evansville; 6 great-grandchildren, Phillip (Michelle) Updike of Cudahy, Jill (Michael) Johnson of Algonquin, IL, Jeffrey (Linda) Updike of Delavan, Sherri (Christopher) Yahnke of Janesville, Christina Schultz and fiance Tim Krauss of Janesville, and Kelly Schultz of Evansville; great-great-grandchildren, Andrew and Arron Updike, Matthew Johnson and Brett Yahnke; I sister, Mabel Zwolski of Green Lake; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Henning, parents, son-in-law Lester Schultz and I brother Louis Aibright and sister Agnes Schlif.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 18, 1998, from 11 AM until 1 PM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Funeral services will be Saturday at I PM at the funeral home with the Reverend James D. Mohr officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. A Memorial has been established.
