Lydia Schaefer, age 99, of Lake Worth, FL, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 1984 in Lake Worth.
Lydia was born on November 10, 1884 in Pickett, WI, the daughter of Julius and Hulda (Miller) Roeske. She married Gordon Schaefer and has lived in Florida for the last 50 years. Lydia was a proprietor of a millinery shop. She was a past member of First Church of Christ Scientist of Ripon.
Lydia is survived by a step-daughter, Rose Mary McGrogan of Hot Springs, AR; and a brother, Otto Roeske of Pickett, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; a son and a daughter.
Visitation for Lydia will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Saturday, June 9, 1984 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, WI.
Funeral service for Lydia will be held at 7:00 pm on Saturday, June 9, 1984 also at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, with Mr. Edmund Winterbottom as Reader. Inurnment will take place at Liberty Prairie Cemetery in Pickett, WI.
