Lydia Stellmacher

Lydia M. Stellmacher, age 96, of Ripon, WI, passed away August 24, 1993, at Juliette Manor Nursing Home, Berlin, WI.
She was born March 5, 1897, in Fairwater, the daughter of Frank and Martha (Bohn) Klingbeil. She was educated in Fairwater and on November 27, 1918, she married Elmer H. Stellmacher. He preceded her in death on July 10, 1977.
Mrs. Stellmacher had lived in the Ripon area all of her life and was a life-long member Immanuel United Methodist Church, Ripon. Lydia will be remembered for the hospitality shown her family and friends. She particularly liked baking and sharing her cooking with others. In addition, she was an active bowler and participant of the Ripon Senior Citizens Center.
Surviving are three daughters, Adeline (Ted) Burdick and Elaine (Milon) Moderow of Ripon, and Irene Mercier of Milwaukee; two sons, Hugh (Genevieve) Stellmacher of Ripon and Stweart (Elizabeth) Stellmacher of Danville, California; 17 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Mabel Artin of Milwaukee. She leaves behind a special friend, Frank Buelow of Ripon.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 16, 1993, at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel United Methodist Church of Ripon. The Reverend Howard Ott will officiate. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services at the church.
A memorial has been established for Immanuel United Methodist Church.
