Lydia Marie Tabbert, age 90, of Ripon, WI, passed away on April 15, 1985, at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon.
Lydia was born October 5, 1894, in the Town of Metomen, WI, the daughter of Herman and Otilia (Schmitt) Dallman. She married Otto Brasch in 1917 until his death in 1927. Lydia then married her second husband, George Tabbert on December 23, 1932 until his death on May 15, 1960. Lydia lived in Ripon most of her life and worked as a housewife. She was a member of the Immanuel united Methodist Church and Mary Martha Circle and a member of the United Fellowship Class.
Survivors include one son, Ray Brasch of Green Lake, WI; one daughter, Ruth (Hubert) Straw of Maysfield, TX; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one step-son, Glenn Tabbert of Pampano Beach, FL; one step-daughter, Gladys (Kermit) Page of Milwuakee, WI and two sisters, Gertrude Hoekstra of Ripon, WI and Viola Lohr of Beaver Dam, WI. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, one son, one sister and one brother.
Visitation for Lydia will be held on Thursday, April 18, 1985, from 6 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Lydia will be held on Friday, April 18, 1985, at 1:00 pm at Immanuel United Methodist Church with Reverend Virgil Nulton officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial has been established.
