Lyle E. Smith, age 82, of Rosendale, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2011, at Ripon Medical Center in Ripon, WI.
Lyle was born on October 22, 1928, in the Town of Eldorado, the son of Edward and Emma (Koehntopp) Smith. He attended grade school in Eldorado and one year of High School in Rosendale. Lyle served our country in the National Guards. He was a truck driver for Gordon Klapperich and a farmer for many years.
Survivors include one sister, Hazel Klapperich of Rosendale, WI. Lyle was preceded in death by his parents and one brother-in-law, Gordon Klapperich.
Per Lyle’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral services held. Memorials may be given to a charity of your choice.
