Lyn Marie Kolf, age 71, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, WI.
Lyn was born on July 31, 1951, daughter of Thomas W. and Bernice A. (Kane) Kolf. She graduated high school and went on to earn her Associates Degree. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and photography. She also started a nonprofit to help refugees in Fox Valley become independent, successful, and learn to drive.
Lyn is survived by her children, Theresa (Berger) Rubin and Michael Berger both of Oshkosh, WI; along with siblings James Kolf, Robert Kolf, William Kolf, Catherine (Kolf) Ganas, Sally Kolf, Barbara (Kolf) Van Hout, Debra (Kolf) Pierpont, and Mary (Kolf) Russell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Bernice Kolf, and Agnes Kolf.
The family greatly appreciates the many prayers; and our hearts are full of gratitude for our Cousins Michele and Peter Kolf, and Jane Kolf for their loving care, compassion and charity in Lyn’s time of need.
Visitation for Lyn will be held from 10:00 until 11:00 am on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 228 E. Blossom St., Ripon, WI 5497.
A funeral mass for Lyn will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 228 E. Blossom St. in Ripon, with Fr. Jim Leary, OFM Cap officiating. You may view a livestream of the mass at 11:00 am here LIVESTREAM. Inurnment will take place at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon, WI, in the spring.
