Lynn Robert Leu, age 55, of Novato, CA, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 4, 2011, at his home in California.
Lynn was born on March 14, 1955, in Ripon, the son of Howard and Lillian (Kosanke) Leu. A 1973 graduate of Ripon High School, Lynn graduated with a medical technology degree from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in 1977, after which he worked in the medical field in various capacities while living in Brookfield and Rubicon, Wisconsin. He moved to the Bay Area in 1989, where he established Preferred Staffing, Inc., a nursing registry. Lynn was an avid sportsman, Eagle Scout and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and baseball.
Lynn is survived by his son, Sigfried of Novato, CA; his father, Howard Leu of Ripon, WI; sister, Susan (Charles) Cooper of Eagan, MN; his niece and nephew, Holly and Robert Cooper of Denver, CO; his former wife and loving friend, Nancy Nelson of Novato, CA and other loving relatives and friends. Lynn was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Leu in 2008.
Visitation for Lynn Leu will be held on Friday, February 4, 2011, from 10 11:00 am in the Chapel of Our Saviours United Church of Christ, 343 Scott St. Ripon, WI 54971.
Memorial Service for Lynn Leu will be held on Friday, February 4, 2011, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon. Reverend Mark R. West will officiate. Inurnment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial is being established.
