Lynn E. Wells, age 78, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on September 12, 1985, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Lynn was born February 8, 1907, in Montello, WI, the son of Willis and Clara (Sears) Wells. He married Julia Kimble on February 13, 1930. Lynn worked as a plumber and owned Green Lake Plumbing and Heating. He was a member of The Federated Church of Green Lake.
Survivors include are his wife, Julia; two sons, Lynn Jr. of Green Lake, WI and Edward of Green Lake, WI; two daughters, Barbara (John) Barrows of Racine, WI and Marlene (John) Kaatz of Madison, WI; 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Eunice Siedel of Fond du Lac, WI and Betty Jean Daniels of Montello, WI. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Visitation for Lynn will be held on Friday, September 13, 1985, from 6 – 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home.
Funeral Service for Lynn will be held on Saturday, September 14, 1985, at 1:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend Dwight Bastain officiating. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. A memorial has been established for The Federated Church of Green Lake.
