Mabel Knapp

Mabel M. Knapp, age 84, of Rosendale, WI, passed away on March 21, 1986, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.

Mabel was born August 1, 1901, in Ripon, WI, the daughter of William and Emma (Zweiger) Endthoff. She was educated at Reeds Corners School. Mabel married Wayne Knapp on September 14, 1922 in Ripon. She worked as a homemaker and was a member of Rosendale United Church of Christ and the Women’s Fellowship Guild.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne; three sisters, Elsie Smith of Ripon, WI, Hazel Dunning of Mayville and Margaret Endthoff of Fond du Lac; one grandson and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, one daughter and one brother.

Funeral Service for Mabel will be held on Monday, March 24, 1986, at 1:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend Gordon Merritt officiating. Interment will follow at Rosendale Cemetery in the Village of Rosendale. A memorial has been established for the church.
