Mabel Lichtenberg

Mabel M. Lichtenberg, age 82, of Oshkosh, died Thursday December 18, 1997, at Omro Care Center in Omro.
She was born January 7, 1915, in the Town of Ripon, a daughter to Gust A. and Gertrude (Schwandt) Lehman. She received her education in Ripon, and on August 7, 1948 she married Russell Lichtenberg. She worked in the shipping department of Mondl’s Manufacturing and for a time, at Ripon Foods. Mrs. Lichtenberg was Lutheran by faith.
She is survived by 2 sons, Harry (Ferne) Keso and Robert Lichtenberg, and 2 granddaughters, Jennifer Keso and Lynne (Tom) Shepardson, all of Oshkosh; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers and one sister.
Funeral service will be Saturday, December 20, 1997, at 3 PM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon with the Rev. Walter Moll of Oshkosh officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 1 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. A memorial has been established.
