Mabel Meyerholtz

Mabel Meyerholtz, age 88, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 1991, at Parkview Care Center, Ripon.
She was born April 8, 1903, a daughter of Henry and Louise (Schultz) Meyerholtz. She graduated from Ripon High School in 1920 and attended Ripon College. She taught school in both Green Lake and Washington Counties. She also worked in Milwaukee for the Milwaukee Journal and in Fond du Lac for the Fond du Lac Commonwealth before joining Speed Queen during WWII, retiring in 1969.
Miss Meyerholtz was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church of Ripon and of the Mary Martha Circle. She was also a member of Local 1327 of the United Steel Workers of America.
Survivors include a brother, Henry Meyerholtz of rural Fremont, a brother-in-law, Arthur Davis of Ripon, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Luella Davis of Ripon, and a brother, John Meyerholtz of Wasilla, Alaska.
Funeral Services for Mabel Meyerholtz will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 31, 1991, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. The Reverend Jeff Evans will officiate, and interment will follow in Bluffton Cemetery, Town of Brooklyn. Friends may call from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 30, 1991 at the funeral home.
