Mabel Ernestine Nothnagel, 99, of N 6167 Lawson Dr., Green Lake, Born to Eternal Life Thursday morning, October 28, 2004, at Green Lake Manor in Green Lake.
She was born August 11, 1905, in the Town of Springvale, a daughter to Frank and Otillia (Schlaak) Heller. Mabel graduated from Green Lake High School. On June 6, 1926, she married William Nothnagel and became a housewife. Mabel also was a telephone operator for Thrasher’s Telephone Company and the Lawson Estate in Green Lake. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Green Lake and church organist for many years, and a member of the Friday Club in Green Lake.
Survivors include one sister, Lillian Klingbeil of Green Lake; one niece, Joan Beuthin of Green Lake; and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1989; and one brother, Clarence Heller.
Funeral service for Mabel E. Nothnagel will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2004, at Peace Lutheran Church in Green Lake with Rev. Rodney E. Dietsche officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake. Memorials may be given in her name to Peace Lutheran Church.
