Mabel May Runke, age 70, of Brandon, WI, died on April 7, 2000, in Waupun.
Mabel was born January 10, 1930, in the Town of Rosendale, a daughter to Charles W. And Eva M. (Hyde) Elliott. She was educated in West Rosendale, was married to Larry Runke, and was a housewife, living in the Brandon area most of her life.
Survivors include one son, R.T. Elliott of Fond du Lac; one daughter, Diana L. Traver, and her fiance Dean Gordon of Brandon. Grandchildren, Tim (Debbie) Traver of Fond du Lac; Nathan J. Arthurs, of North Fond du Lac; Mike J. Elliott of Armstrong, WI; Ray D. Elliott of Armstrong, WI; and Lisa Le Doux, of Fond du Lac. Great-grandchildren, Mitchell N. Traver and Abigail M. Le Doux. She is also survived by a brother, Bernard (Lois) Elliott, of Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Brenda Fude; her husband Larry Runke; three brothers and one sister.
Services for Mabel will be Wednesday, April 12, 2000, at 1:30 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with Reverend David A. Busker officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday, April 12, 2000, from 9:30 am until the time of service. A memorial has been established.
