Mabel L. Wittwer, age 94, of Ripon, WI, died January 25, 1995, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.
She was born October 10, 1900, in Princeton, the daughter of the late Carl and Emma Warnke Fude. On May 21, 1924, she married Walter Wittwer and he passed away on December 19, 1968. Mabel was a housewife and a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon and Women’s Guild.
She is survived by one granddaughter, Marjorie Schoolfield of Phoenix, AZ; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Edna Siewert of Ripon and Erna Laverenz of Wauwatosa; and one brother, August Fude of Parkview. She was preceded in death by one son, Lester; one brother and one sister.
Funeral service for Mabel Wittwer will be held Saturday at 11 am at the Chapel of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ. Reverend Eric Burnard will officiate and interment will follow in Rosendale Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday at 9 am until the time of the service at the church. A memorial has been established in her name.
