Maciel Irene Ritchie, age 87, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on February 5, 1985, at her home.
Maciel was born October 22, 1897, in Pardeville, WI, the daughter of Royal and Mary (Nelson) Hall. She was a graduate of Columbia County Teachers. Maciel married Samuel Ritchie on February 23, 1922 until his death on July 23, 1974. She worked as an elementary teacher and housewife. Maciel was a member of The Federated Church of Green Lake, O.E.S. and past matron and a member of the Green Lake Friday Club.
Survivors include one son, Rex of Green Lake, WI; one daughter, Wanna Mae Sorenson of Sheboygan Falls, WI; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three sisters, Alfretta Krueger of Green Lake, WI, Jessie Metcalf of Montello, WI and Kathleen Bullis of Black Earth, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and one sister.
Visitation for Maciel will be held on Thursday, February 7, 1985, from 6 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service Maciel will be held on Friday, February 8, 1985, at 2:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend Lawrence Janssen officiating. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake.
