Madge E. Welk, age 84, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, May 14, 1984 at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon.
Madge was born on October 28, 1899 in Princton, WI, the daughter of William and Edith (Whiting) Redman. She was educated in Princeton and has lived in Ripon for most of her life. Madge married John Welk and was a cook at Ripon Memorial Hospital for several years. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Pickett, WI.
Madge is survived by her son, James Welk of Ripon, WI; a granddaughter, Katherine of Ripon, WI; and a brother, Fred Redman of Fond du Lac, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Welk.
Visitation for Madge will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 15, 1984 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, WI.
Funeral service for Madge will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, May 16, 1984 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Rev. Alvin Aichele officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
