Mae Palmer Burling, age 93, of Ripon, WI, passed away on January 30, 1986, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Mae was born on June 29, 1892, in the Town of Brooklyn, WI, the daughter of Charles and Jessie (Janes) Palmer. She was educated in Green Lake. Mae married Loy H. Burling on February 5, 1914 until his passing on May 12, 1977. She worked as a housewife. Mae was a member of The Federated Church of Green Lake, a 50 years member of the Eastern Star and Royal Neighbors and a member of the Dartford Education Club.
Survivors include two sons, W. Leonard of Green Lake, WI and Pete Burling of Madison, WI; six daughters, Vivian Chapel of Green Lake, WI, Jeanne Kohnke of Ripon, WI, Marilyn Burling of Plymouth, WI, Charlyne Adames of Green Lake, WI, Dolores Broderick of Montello, WI and Loyce Ann Thrall of Garden City, South Carolina; 21 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and one son.
Visitation for Mae will be held on January 31, 1986, from 5 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Mae will be held on February 1, 1986, at 1:00 pm at The Federated Church of Green Lake with Reverend Larry Janssen officiating. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. A memorial has been established for the church.
