Mae Schaefer

Mae D. Schaefer, age 85, formerly of 429 State St., Ripon, died Thursday evening, October 16, 2003, at Parkview Care Center, Ripon.
She was born July 24, 1918, in LaFayette, MN, and graduated from high school in Minneapolis. On August 6, 1951, she married Ralph L. Schaefer and they made their home in Ripon. Mae was a former bookkeeper at Ripon College, and was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, Ripon.
Survivors include her son, Darrell (Joan) Wagner of Hudson, NH; daughter, Karleen (Gene) Bebel of Merrill, WI; son, Terry (Lori) Schaefer of Onalaska, WI; daughter-in-law, Joyce Schaefer of Effingham, IL; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Gene; and 1 brother.
Funeral service for Mae D. Schaefer will be at 12 noon on Sunday, October 19, 2003, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon with Reverend J. Douglas Hanback officiating. Visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon on Monday..
