Marcella Piper

Marcella M. Piper, age 77, of Ripon, WI, passed away on January 29, 1986, at the University Hospitals in Madison, WI.

Marcella was born September 27, 1908, in Oconto Falls, WI, the daughter of Joseph and Phoebe (Morgenson) Hartman. She was educated in Oconto Falls. Marcella Married John Piper on August 24, 1932 until his death on March 18, 1981. She worked as a clerk at Miles Kimball and as a packer at the Ripon Pickle Factory.

Survivors include one son, John of Ripon; two grandchildren and one brother, Lester Hartman of Ripon. She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter.

Visitation for Marcella will be held on Friday, January 31, 1986, from 5 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.

Funeral service for Marcella will be held on Saturday, February 1, 1986, at 9:30 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend William Toelle officiating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon.
