Marcia Kay Buhrow, age 48, of Ripon, WI, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 8, 1991, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
She was born February 4, 1943, in New Glarus, a daughter to Roy O. and Lois (Thacker) Bentley. On September 4, 1971, she married Jerry Buhrow in Ripon.
She was a graduated of Ripon High School. In Decatur, IL, she learned the skills of her barber trade. For many years she owned and operated Roy’s Barber Shop in Ripon. She was a past member of Immanuel United Methodist Church of Ripon and was past president of the Eagles Auxiliary in Ripon.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry; one brother, Roy (Anna) Bentley, Jr., of Waunakee; her mother, Mrs. Lois Bentley of Ripon; one stepson, Jerry Buhrow, Jr. of Ripon; one stepdaughter, Laurie Buhrow of San Diego, CA; three step-grandchildren: Eric, Jerry and David Buhrow; and three nephews, Jason, Ryan and Justin Bentley. Her father preceded her in death.
Calling hours will be from 3:00 until 6:45 p.m. Sunday, August 11, 1991, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon where an Eagles Auxiliary Services will be held at 6:45 p.m.
Funeral Services for Marcia Buhrow will be Monday, August 12, 1991, at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon. The Reverend Robert B. LeCount will officiate and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
