Margaret Blochwitz, age 83, of Ripon, WI passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 1957 at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital, Sheboygan, WI.
Margaret was born in the Town of Polk, Washington County, WI on August 11, 1873, the daughter of Christian and Justine (Funk) Schmidt. She married John Carl Blochwitz on March 5, 1902 in Randolph, WI. Margaret has lived in Ripon for the last 30 years. She was a member of the Congregational Church of Ripon.
Margaret is survived by a son, Alfred Blochwitz of Sheboygan, WI; one nephew; and five nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Christian and Justine Schmidt; three brothers; and one sister.
Visitation for Margaret will be held from 12:00 pm on Thursday, January 31, 1957 until 1:30 pm on Friday, February 1, 1957 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service for Margaret will be held at 1:30 on Friday, February 1, 1957 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Reverend Victor M. Rhein officiating. Interment will follow at Randolph Cemetery, Randolph, WI.
