Margaret Gibson

Margaret 0. Gibson, 82, of Russell Manor, Ripon, died August 17, 1995, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon where she has resided the past 2 weeks.

She was born in Mott, North Dakota on November 2, 1912, a daughter of the late Nels H. and Martha (Blessman) Opland. On June 15, 1940 she married Earle Arthur Gibson. Mr. Gibson passed away November 23, 1986. Margaret attended school and college in Michigan, and worked in Madison prior to moving to Ripon 25 years ago. Since 1964 she was a secretary in offices of Ripon College, Judge Lester J. Burr and Kilgore Law Office. Margaret was a member of Order of Eastern Star #151, A.A.U.W., and a life member of the Ripon Historical Society.

Survivors include 2 nieces, Kari Opland of San Francisco, CA and Marti B. Opland Kueli of Norway.

There will be no visitation or funeral service. Inurnment will be in Nepeuskun Cemetery, in the Town of Nepeuskun, Winnebago County. Memorials contributions may be made to Hospice Hope in her name.
