Margaret Gozinski

Margaret Gozinski, 82, of Ripon, died Tuesday, March 9, 1999, at Parkview Care Center.

She was born February 12, 1917, on the family farm, a daughter to Otto and Emma (Gransee) Strehlow. She attended country school and graduated from Rosendale High School. On June 4, 1947, she married John Gozinski. Margaret started working at Ripon Foods on Oct. 15, 1941, and when she retired after 45 1/2 yrs, she was head supervisor. She had lived in Ripon most of her life, and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and the V.F.W. Auxiliary.

Survivors include 2 sisters, Lavona Timm or Ripon and Marion (DuWayne) Ferch of Montello; 4 nephews; and 2 sisters-in-law, Marjorie Gozinski of Ripon and Betty Horn of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband on January 13, 1984, 1 brother Earl Strehlow; and 2 infant brothers

Funeral service will be Friday, March 12, 1999, at 11 AM at Grace Lutheran Church, Ripon with the Rev. Paul Holte officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, March 11, 1999 from 4 until 7 PM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon with a V.F.W. Auxiliary service at 7 PM. Visitation will be again on Friday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the church. A V.F.W. Auxiliary service will be held Tuesday evening at 7 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society or Grace Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
