Margaret J. Hielke, age 92, of Ripon, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2010, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon, WI.
Margaret was born on January 16, 1918, in Green Lake County, the daughter of Frank and Clara (Pamenter) Voeltner. She graduated from Green Lake High School and attended County Normal College for one year in Berlin. In 1936, Margaret married William Hielke Jr. She was a teacher and homemaker, 4-H Leader, a member of the Ladies Aid at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pickett and a member of the Homemaker Club.
Survivors include two sons, Ron (Carole) Hielke of Ruskin, FL and David (Joan) Hielke of Pickett, WI; one daughter, Donna (Jim) Meacham of Chetek, WI; grandchildren, Chris (Tom) Schermerhorn, Kenneth (Kari) Hielke, Darryl (special friend Tanya) Hielke, Julie (special friend Tim) Hielke, Dennis (Dana) Hielke, Kathy (Jeff) Kiggens, Gail (Troy) Lenz, Bill (Karen) Hoch; great-grandchildren, Joshua (Rebecca), Margaret and Hannah Schermerhorn, Kurt and Jenni Hielke, Ashley (Drew) Hacker, Kayla (Zach), David, Dylan, Dexten, Taylor Hielke, Courtney and Cole Kiggens, Bailey, Elizabeth and Jacob Hoch; great-great-grandchild, Sydnie Clemens. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Clarence; infant sister, Vivien; sisters-in-law, Lois, Lillian, Clare and Elda; brothers-in-law, Ed, Ben and Delmer.
Visitation for Margaret Hielke will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, from 9 – 11:00 am at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 502 Cty Rd. M Pickett, WI 54964.
Funeral Service for Margaret Hielke will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at 11:00 am at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pickett. Pastor Russell W. Kloehn will officiate. Interment will be at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. Memorials may be given to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 502 Cty. Rd. M Pickett, WI 54964.
