Margaret C. Manning, age 82, of Green Lake, WI, formerly of Horicon, WI, passed away on July 29, 1985, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Margaret was born June 19, 1903, in Horicon, WI, the daughter of Fred H. and Eleanor (Bliss) Clausen. She lived in Horicon until moving to Green Lake in 1955. Margaret married Clarence J. Manning on June 23, 1928. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence; daughter, Sally (Eleanor) Schalmo of Elm Grove, WI; son, John C. (Carole) Manning of Chenequa, WI; five grandchildren, Charles Schalmo, Margaret (Les) Pagel, William Schalmo, Jane Manning and Catherine (Katie) Manning and two great-grandchildren, Carlyle and Paul Pagel. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation for Margaret will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 1985, from 4 – 6:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home.
Funeral Service for Margaret will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 1985, at 9:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Reverend Leo Joyce officiating. Interment will take place at St. Malachy’s Cemetery in Horicon. A memorial is established for the American Cancer Society.
