Margaret Ann Martin, 87, of 6249 East Adobe, Mesa, AZ, passed away December 25, 2004, at Arbor House in Mesa.
She was born January 17, 1917, in Chicago, IL, a daughter of Peter and Anna Smith. Margaret graduated from high school in Chicago. On April 17, 1940, she married Roy Martin and became a housewife. She lived in Chicago prior to moving to Arizona in 1969, and liked visiting Green Lake often.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Maureen Martin of Green Lake and Judy Sheik of Queen Creek, AZ; and 1 granddaughter, Jennifer Sheik of Mesa, AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy, parents, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
A memorial Prayer Service will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 2005, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, with Father Robert A. Fictum officiating. Friends may call from 7:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Inurnment will be in Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. Memorials may be given in her name to Habitat for Humanity for Green Lake, PO Box 64, Green Lake, WI 54941
