Margaret Mielka, age 38, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 1956, at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
Margaret was born April 15, 1918, in Rosendale, WI, the daughter of John and Ida (Grahn) Smith. She attended Rosendale Public Schools and Oshkosh Business College. On November 12, 1945, Margaret married Nelson F. Mielka. She worked as a secretary for Ripon Foods for a number of years. Margaret was a member of the Ripon Science Club.
Survivors include her husband, Nelson; three children, Jennel age 9, Joel age 2 and Julie Jane; one sister, Miss Jennie Smith of Ripon and two brothers, Lt. Col John W. Smith who is overseas and Arthur Smith of Ripon. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, John.
Friends may call on Wednesday, October 17, 1956, after 7:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Margaret will be held on Saturday, October 20, 1956, at 2:00 pm at The First Methodist Church in Ripon with The Reverend Douglas Anderson officiating. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
