Margaret Ann Morris, age 62, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, September 22, 1986, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Margaret was born August 9, 1924, in Ripon, WI, the daughter of August and Martha Hoffman.
She graduated from Ripon College with the class of 1945 with a degree in History. In 1957, Margaret married Joseph S. Morris. She worked as a housewife. Margaret was a member of the Congregational Church. She was also a member of the Women’s Club and the Bridge League.
Survivors include her son, Joseph of Ripon; two step-sons, Milton and Elroy both of Ripon; four step-daughters, Joanne Adamski of Ripon, Phyllis Kempfer of Ripon, Marilyn Stollfus of Pickett and Miriam Balda of Oshkosh; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on April 6, 1985 and one sister.
Visitation for Margaret will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 1986, from 5 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home.
Funeral Service for Margaret will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 1986, at 1:30 pm at the First Congregational Church with Reverend Allan Martling officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial has been established for the church.
