Margaret A. Naparalla, 88, formerly of Ripon, passed away Monday morning, August 8, 2005 at Encore Senior Living in Fond du Lac after a long struggle with Alzheimers the past 8 years.
She was born January 3, 1917, in Ripon, the daughter of Andrew and Anna (Pufahl) Novitske. She was a graduate of Ripon High School. On November 6, 1940, she married Edward S. Naparalla in Ripon. For over 30 years, Margaret had been a baker in the food service at Ripon College. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Ripon and past member of the altar society.
Survivors include her children, Diane Riley (Stephen) of Ripon, Sue Bennett (Jack) of Plover, Charles Naparalla (Lugene), of Mandeville, LA, Rita Wellons (Dick) of Seattle, WA and Jane Root (Don) of Green Bay; grandchildren, Debra Post, Lisa Clark, Kelly Odiorne, Jacqueline Francois, Tara Patil, Meredith Ludwig, Erin Riley, Michael Clark, Jay Bennett, Nicholas Bennett, David Root, Grace Naparalla, Claire Naparalla and Carla Wellons, 12 great-grandchildren, brother A.J. (Margaret) Novitske of Fond du Lac, sister Dorothy Gruszynske of Omro, and sister-in-law Eleanor Zabel of Winneconne. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 brothers, Lawrence and Donald Novitske; and 2 sisters, Grace Rozek and Carolyn Novitske.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11a.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2005 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. 415 E. Fond du Lac St., Ripon with Rev. Robert A. Fictum officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the church service. Interment will be at Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake. Memorials may be given in her name to St. Agnes Hospice Hope or St. Catherine of Siena Church.
