Margaret Schneckenberg

Margaret Schneckenberg, age 82, of Ripon, WI, a two year resident of Parkview Care Center died Sunday, March 2, 1997, at Ripon Medical Center.

She was born January 5, 1915, in Green Lake County, a daughter to the late Rudolph and Caroline Lunnow Jahns. She attended Markesan Schools. On November 5, 1935 she married John Schneckenberg at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and they made their home in Ripon. Margaret was a housewife, and enjoyed gardening, flowers and doing embroidery work. She was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Margaret had previously been a Cub Scout den mother for many years.

She is survived by her husband, John; one daughter, Roselyn (Ralph) Perry of Green Bay; one son, David (Carollyn) Schneckenberg of Pewaukee; four grandchildren, Sean Perry, Lisa Ann Nero, Paul Schneckenberg and Kristine Baehmann; one great-grandson, Adam DuPont; one sister, Caroline Stellmacher of Waupun; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters and brothers.

Visitation will be at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon on Wednesday, March 5, 1997, from 9:30 until 10:30 am at which time prayers will be said prior to moving to the church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday at 11 am at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Ripon with Father William L. Toelle officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. A memorial has been established for St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.
