Margaret Tiry

Mrs. Margaret Tiry, age 92, of Ripon, WI, passed away Thursday, February 1, 1990, at Ripon Medical Center.
She was born May 2, 1897, in Worthington, IA, a daughter to Peter and Elizabeth (Honerbaum) Hansen. On June 1, 1927, she married Mathias Tiry in Oaks, ND. He preceded her in death on April 16, 1973. Mrs. Tiry was educated in Iowa. She resided in Iowa, ND, Marshfield and since 1976, in Ripon. She was a housewife and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon.
Survivors include his four sons, Joseph (Mary Ann) of Green Bay, Walter (Theresa) of Marshfield, Delbert of Oshkosh and David (Lucy) Ripon; one daughter, Clarann (Glenn) Herzberg of Adell; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death her parents, one brother and eight sisters.
Visitation for Margaret will be held on Sunday, February 4, 1990, from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 5, 1990, at 9:30 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon. Reverend John A. Schmitz will officiate. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Marshfield.
