Margery Norton, age 67, of Green Lake, WI, died Thursday, March 17, 1988, at the home of her daughter in Fond du Lac.
Margery was born June 10, 1920, in Rosendale, WI, the daughter of Harold and Elsie (Bluemke) Morgan. She was educated in Rosendale. On May 11, 1947, Margery married Harry Norton. She was the Co-Founder and Co-Owner of Nortons Marine Dining Room where she worked for 30 years. Most recently Margery was employed part time at Green Lake Pharmacy.
Survivors include one son, Doug (Debbie) of Green Lake, WI; one daughter, Mary Jo (Bob) Faris of Fond du Lac; three sisters, Mrs. Harold (Ruth) Marchant of Fond du Lac, WI, Mrs. Victor (Grace) Prey of Rosendale, WI and Miss Judy Morgan of Ripon, WI; one brother, David Morgan of Rosendale and three grandchildren, Randy, Kari and Ann Norton all of Green Lake. Margery was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 18, 1988, from 5 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 1988, at 10:30 am at The Federated Church of Green Lake. The Reverend Dwight Bastian will officiate. Interment will be held at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake.
