Marian Ninneman

Marian H. Ninneman, age 89, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016, at Maplecrest Manor in Ripon.
Marian was born November 11, 1926, in Wisconsin, the daughter of Terrance and Agnes (Mirr) Hackl. She graduated as valedictorian from Green Lake High School in 1944. On November 9, 1946, Marian married Frederic Ninneman. In her early years she was employed at Ripon College then moved to Fond du Lac. In 1961 she and Frederic bought and ran Green Lake Auto Service until their retirement in the late 1980’s. In addition, while living in Green Lake she was employed as a secretary to the guidance counselor and librarian at the Ripon Middle School for 25 years. Marian was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake. She was also a member of the Dartford Historical Society, American Legion Auxillary, Ripon Middle School Retired Employees Association and a 50 plus year member of the 59ers HCE in Green Lake.
As an avid sports fan, Marian followed the Wisconsin sports teams, Packers, Brewers and Badgers. She and Fred had season tickets to the Packers when they played some of the regular season games in Milwaukee County Stadium. Sundays at noon would find the family huddled in front of the television watching the Packer games. Conversations only took place during the commercial breaks. She passed this love of sports on to her children, and today Dianne is still a Packer ticket holder.
Survivors include one daughter, Dianne Hardin of Hot Springs Village, AR; one son, David (Zuzana) Ninneman of Fenton, MO and two grandchildren, Bianca and Brendan Ninneman both of Fenton, MO. She is further survived by her two brothers, Denis (Pat) Keefe and Ronald (Kathy) Keefe. Marian was preceded in death by her parents, Terrance and Agnes and husband, Frederic Ninneman.
Visitation for Marian will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016, from 10 – 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 530 Ruth St., Green Lake, WI 54941.
Mass of a Christian Burial for Marian will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake. Father Philip Krogman will officiate. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake.
