Marianne Sobczak, age 86, formerly of Green Lake, died Tuesday, March 28, 2000, at Sunnyview Health & Rehab Center in Princeton.
She was born March 25, 1914, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Stanley and Bernis Cava (Rudziewig) Siedlicke. Marianne received her education in Gary, IN. On October 29, 1935, she married Alexis Frank Sobczak, and they made their home in Milwaukee prior to moving to Green Lake. Mr. Sobczak passed away in 1990. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Green Lake.
She is survived by her son, Donald (Kathleen) Sobczak of Wautoma, 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Her parents and husband preceded her in death.
Private graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2000, at Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake with Father John R. Dowd officiating. There will be no visitation. A memorial has been established.
