Marie Anne Jahnke, 71, of 477 Lake Street, Green Lake, passed away at her home on Tuesday, December 11, 2001.
Marie was born on December 8, 1930, in Park Falls, the daughter of Carl and Emma (Perlich) Hoffman. She graduated from Waupaca High School, and was a secretary for the Farm Bureau Rural Insurance of Green Lake, and later worked for ABC Medical Transport Company. Marie was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Green Lake.
Survivors include three sons; Jeffrey P. (Mary Ellen) Jahnke, of Ripon, James D. Jahnke and Terry L. Jahnke both of Green Lake, special Daughter-in-law Christine Douglas, of Madison, three Grandchildren; Adam (Amy), Daniel, and DeLany Jahnke; one great-granddaughter, Elizabeth; one brother Donald (Edie) Hoffman of Amherst, one sister Darlene Engbretson of Waupaca, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services for Marie will be held on Friday, December 14, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Green Lake with Reverend Rodney E. Dietsche officiating. Friends may call on Friday December 14, at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake. Memorials can go to Caestecker Public Library, Peace Lutheran School, or St. Agnes Hospice Hope of Berlin.
