Marie Kloostra

Marie Beatrice Kloostra, age 76, of Waupun, died at the Markesan Resident Home on Sunday, December 26, 1999, where she has resided the past 4 months..

Marie was born March 18, 1923, in the town of Alto, a daughter to Anthony S. and Jenny (Van Buren) Loomans. She graduated from Brandon High School, and on February 2, 1943, she married Leonard Kloostra. Marie was a homemaker, and lived in the Waupun area most of her life. She belonged to the Grace Reformed Church in Fond du Lac.

Survivors include her daughters, Jill (Dennis) Beuthin of Ripon and Kanda (Richard) Zabrowski of Ripon; grandchildren, Jennifer (Kyle) Zahnow of Green Lake, Cory Faber of Madison, Mitch (Angie) Beuthin of New Berlin, Kim Faber of Princeton, Nickoel Zabrowski of Van Dyne, Leslie & Kelsey Zabrowski of Ripon; and 1 great-grandchild, Ashley Zahnow of Green Lake. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leonard, daughter, Judy Faber and 1 brother, Alfred Loomans.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 28, 1999, at 7 PM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. The Rev. Donald Deike will officiate and burial will be in the Alto Cemetery, Alto. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:30 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home. A memorial has been established.
