Marie Sieger

Mrs. Marie Sieger, 94, of 615 W. Oshkosh died Saturday at her Willowbrook Apartment.

She was born March 12, 1895, in Hermosa, SD, to Dwight and Nellie Canfield Sawyer. On April 27, 1918, she married Henry Sieger.

Mrs. Sieger was a graduate of Berlin High where she just celebrated her 75th year of graduation. She also attended two years of college. She was a housewife. Prior to moving to Ripon in 1966, she had resided in Winnebago Co. She was a member of the Waukau United Methodist Church and a member of the Ripon Senior Citizens.

Mrs. Sieger has 10 children: Nellie Mae Sieger, Donald and Mary Ann Sieger and Darleen Wetterau, all of Oshkosh; Betty and Lyle Porter, Alvern Sieger, Florence and Glenn Sasada, Clifford and Eldora Sieger and Beverly Luther, Ripon; Orv Sieger of Fond du Lac and Leonard and Karen Sieger of Appleton; 29 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law Vernice Sawyer of Oshkosh.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am at the Waukau United Methodist Church in Waukau. The Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow will officiate and interment will follow in the Waukau Cemetery.

Friends may call Monday from 5 until 8:00 pm, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon.

A memorial in her name will be established. Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home handled funeral arrangments.
