Marie O. Wepner, age 64, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, July 27, 1987, at Ripon Memorial Hospital in Ripon.
Marie was born January 9, 1923, in Oakfield, WI, the daughter of Felix and Elsie (Grams) Scharschmidt. She married William Wepner on February 23, 1946 in Markesan and then moved to Ripon in 1968. Marie worked as a clerk at Ace Hardware for 15 years.
Survivors include her husband, William Wepner of Ripon, WI; two sons, Gregory of Clarington Hills, IL and Thomas of Ripon, WI; two daughters, Mrs. Pat (Mary) Meaney of Wausaukee and Mrs. Mike (Kathy) Luedke of Ripon, WI; six grandchildren and four brothers, Felix, John, Richard Scharschmidt of Markesan, WI and Rudolph Scharschmidt of Modesto, CA; three sisters, Mrs. Willard (Felicia) Marquart of Ripon, WI, Mrs. Hazen (Francis) Kaul of Markesan, WI and Mrs. Gordon (Betty) Warnke of Ripon, WI and her mother, Felix Scharschmidt, Sr. of Ripon. Marie was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation for Marie will be held Thursday, July 30, 1987, from 7:30 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Marie will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2018, at 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with The Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow officiating. Inurnment will follow the service. A memorial may be directed to Hospice Caring.
