Marie M. Wiercinski, 86, of 17 Highland Ave., Ripon, died April 24, 1994, at Parkview Care Center, Ripon.
She was born on May 1, 1907, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Freidl) Blake, she was educated in Delafield. Marie has resided in Ripon since 1929, and in October of 1933, Marie married Florian Wiercinski. Together she and Florian owned and operated the Ripon Home bakery. Marie was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon and of the Alter Society.
In addition to her husband, Florian, she is survived by one daughter, Shirley (Jack) Zentner of Ripon, two grandsons, Mark and Scott Zentner both of Ripon, and one granddaughter, Meg (Todd) Surges of Milwaukee. She was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Blake.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 pm followed by a Rosary at 7 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 am on Wednesday, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon. The Reverend John A. Schmitz will officiate. Burial will be in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon.
