Marilyn E. Rueckert, age 97, of Ripon, WI, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Prairie Place in Ripon.
Marilyn was born September 27, 1924, in Fond du Lac, WI, the daughter of John and Emily (Parks) Jennings. She graduated from Ripon High School and on September 17, 1960, she married Roland Lester Rueckert at Our Saviour’s United Church in Ripon. Marilyn worked as an inspector before having her daughters and then became a full time mother and homemaker. She was an active member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, loved crafts of all kinds, volunteered at Ripon Medical Center, the election polls and was a member of TOPS.
Survivors include her daughter, Jane (Harland) Hilke of Markesan, WI; sister, Ruth Ann Cluppert of Fairwater, WI; sister-in-law, Dorraine Heitman and is further survived by friends, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roland; daughter, Cynthia; sisters, Doris, Betty and twin sister, Muriel; brother, Richard and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lorraine (Eldon) Benz.
Visitation for Marilyn will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022, from 10 – 11:00 am at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, 343 Scott St., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Marilyn will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022, at 11:00 am at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon with Reverend Dr. Kevin P. Mundell officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Prairie Cemetery in the Town of Utica. A memorial is being established in her name.
