Marilyn Spindler, age 75, of Ripon, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2016, at her home.
Marilyn was born September 13, 1940, in Fox Lake, WI, the daughter of Louis and Hazel (Arndt) Pollesch. She attended Ripon High School and later married Marvin Spindler in Ripon, WI. Marilyn loved her family dearly and often was referred to as the historian of the family; if you needed to know something about the family tree, Marilyn could tell you.
Survivors include her siblings, Loren Pollesch, Jeannine Paul, Darrell (Dorothy) Pollesch, Kenneth (LaDean) Pollesch, Gloria (Kenneth) Woock, Rochelle (Jan) Seering, Carol (John) Cate, Shari (Jerry) Wesolowski, Rodger (Shari) Pollesch, Gaya Pollesch, Lynn (Roberta) Pollesch, Jan (Jon) Downs and her aunt, Arlene Love. Marilyn is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Hazel Pollesch; husband, Marvin Spindler, brother, Dean Pollesch; sister in-law, Donna Pollesch and brother in-law, Lawrence Paul.
Visitation to the public for Marilyn will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
A Private Funeral Service for Marilyn Spindler will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2016, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Jason Jobs will officiate. Interment will follow at Markesan Memorial Cemetery in the City of Markesan. Memorials may be directed to St. Johns Lutheran Church, 65 W. Catherine St., P.O. Box 345, Markesan, WI 53946.
