Marion Berger

Marion Rose Berger, age 85, Ripon, passed away Wednesday morning, September 14, 2005, at Ripon Medical Center in Ripon.

She was born May 5, 1920, in the Town of Metomen, a daughter to Frank and Elsie (Lehman) Pollack. She attended Homes Country School and graduated from Ripon High School in 1937. She had been employed as a textile sewer at Ripon Knitting Works and Sand Knit. She married Lester Berger on October 21, 1944. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon and a Charter Member of the Town & Country Garden Club.

She is survived by 2 children, Patricia (James) Houwers of Sheboygan and Ronald Berger of Ripon; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters, LaVerne Guerts of De Pere and Elnora Manske of Ripon. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 3 sisters, Lorraine, Evelyn & Helen; and 1 brother, Gilbert.

Funeral service for Marion Berger will be Saturday, September 17, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Immanuel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Paul Nulton officiating. Visitation will be Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Garden of the Cross Cemetery, Ripon. Memorials in her name to Immanuel United Methodist Church.
