Marion Frances Gloyd, age 59, of Ripon, WI, passed away on September 5, 1984, at her home.
Marion was born June 25, 1925, in Duluth, MN, the daughter of Fritz and Florence (Watts) Eichstedt. She married Leonard Gloyd on June 10, 1950 in Ripon. Marion worked as a nurses’ aide at Parkview Nursing Home and was a cook for four years at Ripon High School. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon.
Survivors include her husband, Leonard; four sons, David, James, Daniel and Donald all of Ripon, WI; three daughters, Carol and Tammy of Ripon, WI and Janice (James) Griffin of Eldorado, WI; nine grandchildren, one brother, Robert Eichstedt of Ripon, WI and one sister, Doris Meyer of Ripon, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter and one son.
Visitation for Marion will be held on Thursday, September 6, 1984, from 6:30 until 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Marion will be held on Friday, September 7, 1984, at 1:30 pm at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon with Reverend Virgil Nulton officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
