Marion G. Prelwitz, age 68, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, April 28, 1989, at her home in Ripon.
Marion was born December 31, 1920, in Mayville, WI, the daughter of William and Emma (Schrader) Quinn. She graduated from Ripon High School. She married Joseph Wizner and he passed away in 1963. On August 14, 1971, she married William Prelwitz. Marion went on to be a Service Department Clerk at Speed Queen for 40 years. She lived in Ripon most of her life, and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church as well as the Ripon VFW Auxiliary.
Marion is survived by her husband; four sisters, Rose Reiser of Princeton, WI, June Lehner of Mayville, WI, Grace Trainer of Burnett, WI and Gloria Shry of Waupun, WI; three step-sons, Dave Prelwitz of Ripon, WI, Roy Prelwitz of Two Rivers, WI, and Tom Prelwitz of Ripon, WI; two step-daughters, Chris Prelwitz of Ripon and Denise Kovalaske also of Ripon; and nine grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Joseph Wizner; one sister and one brother.
Visitation for Marion will be held on Monday, May 1, 1989 from 5:00 to 7:30 pm and Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, with a Vigil Service at 7:30 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Marion will be held Tuesday, May 2, 1989, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon, with the Reverend John Schmitz officiating. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Ripon.
