Marion Zick, age 86, of Mequon WI, formerly of Ripon, passed away Thursday evening, December 2, 2004 at Lasata Care Center, Cedarburg, WI.
Marion was born August 8, 1918 in Ripon, the daughter of John G. and Mary (Bowman) Ristau. She graduated from Ripon High School and married Carl S. Zick on November 6, 1942. Marion was employed at the Ripon College Bookstore for a number of years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Whitefish Bay, past member of the United Methodist Church of Ripon and past member of the Eastern Star of Ripon.
Marion is survived by her daughter, Gretchen Titus of Mequon; granddaughter, Sarah Gretchen Titus of Mequon; nephew, Scott M. Nehm of Bowling Green, KY; and a cousin, Ruth Anderson, Plymouth, WI, and her children, Sally Purcell of Carmel, CA, Suzy Koch of Denver, CO and Jeff Koch of Vail, CO. Marion will be dearly missed by the family’s two dogs, Bonny and Delilah. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Services will be held at 12:00 noon, with visitation at 11:30 a.m., on Monday, December 6, 2004, both at The United Methodist Church of Whitefish Bay, 819 E. Silver Spring Drive, Whitefish Bay, WI 53217. Dr. John Strassburger will officiate. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery, City of Ripon. Memorials may be directed to The United Methodist Church of Whitefish Bay at the above address.
