Mark Eichstedt

Mark Carl Eichstedt, age 55, of Alvin, TX (formerly of Ripon) passed away Monday night, August 22, 2011, at Ripon Medical Center in Ripon.

Mark was born August 10, 1956, in Ripon, WI, the son of Robert and Elizabeth (Hoffman) Eichstedt. He graduated from Ripon High School, went on to college and was employed with Continental Airlines as an A & P Mechanic for 23 years. In 1988, Mark married Cathleen “Kitty” Finley in Ripon. He was a member of H.O.G.S. Mark was a devoted husband, father, grandpa and had a lot of wonderful friends.

Survivors include his wife, “Kitty” Eichstedt of Alvin, TX; daughter, Lindsey (Stephen Hernandez) Eichstedt of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Izaiah and Mia Hernandez of Houston, TX; mother, Elizabeth Eichstedt of Ripon, WI; brothers and sisters, Michael (Maureen) Eichstedt of Berlin, WI, Gary (“Chuckie”) Eichstedt of Ripon, WI, Susan Bresser of Wyocena, WI, Judy (Mark) Carpenter of Princeton, IN and Bonnie (Ron) Anderson of Janesville, WI and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Mark was preceded in death by his daughter, Tiffany Finley Eichstedt; father, Robert Eichstedt; niece, Ronelle “Ronie” Eichstedt and mother and father-in-law, Darlene and Richard Finley.

Visitation for Mark Eichstedt will be held on Friday, August 26, 2011, from 11 – 1:00 pm at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 401 West Fond du Lac St. Ripon, WI 54971.

Funeral Service for Mark Eichstedt will be held on Friday, August 26, 2011, at 1:00 pm at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon. Pastor Joshua Pegram will officiate. A memorial is being established.
