Marland C. Burt, age 82, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 1991, at Care Center East, Fond du Lac.
He was born September 17, 1908, in Markesan, a son of Arthur and Anna (Silgman) Burt. On June 18, 1940, he married Elsie Cluppert.
Mr. Burt had been educated in Markesan and Ripon. He spent most of his life in Ripon and was a machinist at Speed Queen, Ripon. He was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ, Ripon.
Survivors include his wife; one son, James (Kathy) Burt of Fredonia; one grandson; one granddaughter, and two cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Silgman and Mrs. William Draheim.
Friends may call Friday from 6 until 8:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Services for Mr. Burt will be held Saturday, at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon. The Reverend James D. Mohr will officiate. Interment will follow in the Green Lake Cemetery, Town of Green Lake. A memorial has been established in his name for the church.
