Martha W. James, age 64, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 1990, at her home.
She was born August 4, 1926, in Lake County, IL, a daughter of Jesse L. and Winnie (Sandmire) Willard. On November 10, 1945, she married Louis James. Mrs. James was a member of the Ripon Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Betty (Ted) Lenox of Warsaw, IN; two sons, Darrel (Susan) James of North Fond du Lac, and Larry (Nancy) James of Fond du Lac; twelve grandchildren; two sisters, Laura and Grace of IL; six brothers Galen and Glen of IL; John of CA; Frank of IA and Leslie and Chester of Richland Center, WI. Preceding her in death were her husband, one daughter, two sisters, one brother and her parents.
Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services on Monday, December 31, 1990, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral services for Mrs. James will be Monday, December 31, 1990, at 1:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. The Reverend J. Douglas Hanback will officiate and interment will be held in the Hillside Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial in her name has been established for Hospice Hope of Fond du Lac County; Salvation Army Corps of Fond du Lac and the Ripon Baptist Church.
