Marvin E. Miller, age 80, of 1 Warren St. Ripon, passed away Monday August 8, 2005 at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon.
Marvin was born on January 22, 1925 in the Town of Metomen the son of Henry J. and Elsie (Steinert) Miller. He attended school at the Dodd School in the Town of Rosendale. Marvin was employed at the Aluminum Factory in Fond du Lac, the Easy Paint Co. in Fond du Lac and Green Giant Canning Co. in Ripon before being a farmer for 47 years. On May 31, 1947 he married Loretta Albrecht, and was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale.
Survivors include his wife Loretta of Ripon, and their children; Bruce (Cheryl) Miller of Ripon, Bonnie (Larry) Gensch of West Salem, Brad (Susie) Miller of Rosendale, Brent Miller of Ripon, their grandchildren; Tammy, Kevin, Matt, Chad, and Nicole, step-granddaughter Laura, great-grandchildren; Darian, Merrissa, Emily, Alexa, Izaac, and two step-great-grandchildren; Sheena and Tanner. He is further survived by his brother, Alvon (Roselind) Miller of Eldorado, 2 brother-in-laws; Marvin Albrecht of Van Dyne, and George (Marylin) Albrecht of Rosendale, 2 sister-in-laws; Arlene Albrecht of Eldorado, and Elaine Albrecht of Van Dyne, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, step grandson Randall, sister Mae, brother Maynard, brother-in-laws; Roland Albrecht, Orlen Albrecht, and Alvin Giese, and sister-in-law; Eldora Giese.
Funeral services for Marvin Miller will be on Friday, August 12, 2005 at 7:00 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Thompson officiating. Friends may call on August 12, 2005 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home from 4 pm until the time of the service. Burial will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2005 at 10:30 am in St. Johns Cemetery, Town of Blackwolf. A memorial has been established.
